Gangotri Yamnotri Yatra

Season: May to October
Region: Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
Travel Destinations: Delhi - Haridwar or Dehradun - Barkot - Uttarkashi - Rishikesh - Delhi.

Day 01- Delhi - Haridwar (205 Kms)

Arrival at Delhi airport and drive to Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar, check in hotel. In the evening visit Har-ki-Paudi and take pleasure experiencing the evening aarti. Get back to hotel. Night stay at the hotel.

Day 02 - Haridwar - Barkot (140 Kms)

Drive from Haridwaar to Barkot. Lunch at Mussoorie. On your way visit the Kempty Falls. Continue the journey through Yamuna bridge. On arrival at Barkot, check in the hotel. Over night stay at the hotel.

Day 03- Barkot -Yamunotri - Barkot (32 kms Drive / 10 km by jeep/ 6 kms trek-one way)

After an early morning breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti (32 kms). On arrival at Hanuman Chatti take a local jeep to Phool Chatti. Trek towards the Char Dham destination Yamnotri from Phool Chatti (15 km) . After attending the puja at Yamnotri get back to Barkoat via Phool Chatti Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.

Day 04-Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 82 kms)

Morning drive to Uttarkashi. En-route visit Prakateshwar Cave. On arrival at Uttarkashi, check in the hotel and relax for some time. In the evening visit the two famous temples, Vishwnath Temple and Shakti Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05- Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms)

Take an early morning drive to Gangotri. On arrival take a bath in the sacred river Ganga. Relish the natural beauty of this blissful destination covered by Char Dham Yatra. Take an afternoon drive to Uttarkashi. Over night stay at hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 06- Uttarkashi - Rishikesh (145 kms)

After breakfast take a morning drive to Rishikesh. Spend evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07- Rishikesh - Delhi (230 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival direct transfer to onward destination. The Char Dham tour concludes.
